Materials:

-copies of paper doll and clothing patterns

-scissors

-glue

-crayons

-colored pencils

Paper Dolls Overview:  This is the first lesson of the year.  The students are supposed to make the dolls look like themselves, so we can hang little versions of each student on the wall for the whole year.

1:  Instruct students to color all the part they are going to use, the  body, the hair, and the clothes they want to put them in BEFORE cutting anything out.
2: Cut all the parts out.  1st and 2nd grade will be finished here, their dolls are already dressed and already have hair.
3: Glue together
4: Put velcro on the back and stick it on the wall!
